We, our comrades, and fellow travelers of varied associations and alignments at Occupy Memphis have come together under the banner of anti-Capitalism. Fully aware that over half a century of propaganda has leveled its lies against us, the caucus decided that it should create a pamphlet to counter some of the more overt falsehoods perpetuated by the opponents of liberty and equality.
Here is a draft the editor is submitting to the caucus for approval before it is placed at the information booth and distributed generally. The eight points as well as many of the ideas countering them arose in last week's caucus meeting. Furthermore, the collective editorial process of review and revision ensures that this document is not the product of one person or point of view. Rather, this is a manifestation of the caucus' militant readiness to confront the lies of Capitalism.
