at our next meeting, Friday Nov 18, we will be joined by the Occupy Memphis Anti-Capitalist Caucus. If you would like to learn more about the local Occupy movement, this is an excellent opportunity to do so without having to even leave campus. If you have any friends who are curious about Marxism, revolutionary theories, activism, and/or the Occupy movement bring them with you to room 208 in the University Center this Friday. We have a very tightly scheduled agenda and will have the room open at 5:30, get started at 6pm sharp, and be wrapped up by 9 pm. In keeping with the tradition of the anti-Capitalist caucus, we will sing "The Internationale" at the end of our joint meeting. The music and lyrics for the Internationale will be posted immediately so anyone who does not know the song can at least get familiar with the tune before Friday night.
